Your Role

We are looking for experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants with urgent care or emergency room experience, treating both adult and pediatric patients. This position is available part-time or full-time .

Job Summary

As an Urgent Care Advanced Practitioner, you will provide a wide range of clinical services, including :

  • Treating acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, and minor infections
  • Recognizing serious conditions and directing patients to emergency care when necessary

    • Job RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelor's Degree required for Physician Assistants
  • Master's Degree required for Nurse Practitioners

    • Work Experience

  • 1+ years of post-residency clinical experience required
  • Minimum 18 months experience in applicable practice setting preferred
  • Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred

    • Licenses / Certifications

  • National Certification
  • Active state medical licensure (MD / DE can be obtained)

    • Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Room setting
  • Proficiency in applicable office procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records is a plus

    • Essential Functions

    As an Advanced Practitioner, your essential functions will include :

  • Examining and treating patients
  • Taking patients’ medical histories
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X-rays
  • Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
  • Treating minor injuries that may require sutures, splints, or casting
  • Educating and counseling patients
  • Administering vaccinations and referring patients to additional care
  • Performing all other duties as assigned

    • Compensation

    A full-time Swingturnist receives premium pay.

    Annual salary ranges from $139,616 - $171,924 before value incentive.
