As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician here at Solstice, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. You will play a key role in supporting the operational excellence of our facilities by ensuring that all systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and safety of our operations by ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation systems are maintained to the highest standards, thereby supporting our commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system issues and implement improvements.
Assist in the implementation of process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment status
Know how to read single line electrical diagrams
Know how to trace electrical systems
Know how to trouble shoot PLCs and DCSs
Know how VFDs work and how to trouble shoot them
Know how to trouble HVAC units that are not working correctly
Know how to determine correct wire requirements and electricity requirements based on end electrical use
Know how to wire up electrical equipment
Understand when and how to do ground fault checks along with megger testing
Utilize SAP to plan work, tracking progress, and order parts

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and equipment status
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.
Experience with troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and instrumentation.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for system analysis.
Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance.
