Locum Tenens OB / GYN On-Call Coverage Opportunity near BARDWELL, KY

Are you an experienced OB / GYN seeking locum tenens opportunities? We have an exciting and rewarding locum tenens position available for on-call coverage near BARDWELL, KY. If you're looking to make a positive impact, consider joining our dynamic team.

Open Dates :

  • March 29 (7a) - April 8 (7a)
  • 1-2 weekends per month ongoing in 2024

Job Details :

  • Practice Setting : Hospital / Call
  • Reason for Coverage : Short staffed
  • Total Number of Beds : 8
  • No Other OB / GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates
  • Onsite Labs & Ultrasound
  • Office Equipment : Hospital Labor and Delivery
  • Low Volume of C-Section Patients
  • Average Number of Nursery Admissions Per Day : Varies, usually under 10
  • Delivery Volume : 100 births last year
  • Nursery Level : II
  • Documentation System / EMR : Epic
  • Strong Midwife Program, and They Take First Call. Physicians Must Be Midwife Friendly

    • Required Procedures / Duties :

  • Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps
  • Decision-Making for C-Section
  • Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
  • VBACs
  • Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations

    • Additional Information :
