As a recognized leader in assembly technology, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Controls Engineer to be part of our dynamic and growing team.

About the Role

We are looking for a team-oriented professional who is passionate about learning and growing in the field of industrial control systems. As a Controls Engineer at Rhino Tool House, you will play a key role in designing, programming, and commissioning industrial control systems across a diverse range of industries. You will have the opportunity to develop and implement new technologies while contributing to innovative projects.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical control circuits.
  • Develop and test software for PLC, HMI, and other control systems.
  • Lead system commissioning at customer sites, ensuring seamless installation and functionality.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to ensure systems meet all technical requirements and specifications.
  • Manage multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and continued support.
  • Provide service and technical support to customers as needed.
  • Update and maintain project documentation, ensuring all information is current and accurate.

Desired Qualifications :

  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, and related industrial control systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, EPlan, or other electrical design software.
  • Strong understanding of NEC / ANSI / UL electrical standards.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety circuit design.
  • Motivated self-starter with a keen desire to learn and grow in a technical role.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience in a similar role.
