Land Solutions, Solar Land Agent – Michigan

Michigan Statewide | Full-Time Contract | Active LLC Required

Nearest major city : Lansing, MI

We're hiring a full-time Land Agent to support a utility-scale solar development project across the state of Michigan . This is a boots-on-the-ground role for someone experienced in land acquisition who can engage professionally with landowners, negotiate agreements, and help secure land for renewable energy in the region.

Local candidates are preferred , but per diem is available for agents traveling into the area.

What you'll do :

Engage with landowners to negotiate solar lease and easement agreements

Maintain accurate records of landowner communications and signed documents

Collaborate with project leadership to meet acquisition and site control milestones

Represent our client professionally and respectfully in the community

What we're looking for :

Proven experience in land acquisition for solar or utility projects

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with Michigan's rural markets and landowner landscape

Ability to travel across the state as needed

Must have an active LLC and reliable transportation

Important Notes :

This is a full-time 1099 contract role (not benefits-eligible)

Per diem is available

Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
