Travel Nurse RN - Medical-Surgical - $2,054 per week in Midland, MI

Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty : Med Surg Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : 2 years of Med Surg experience required License : State License - Michigan Certifications : BLS (AHA) required Must-Have : Epic experience preferred, travel experience highly preferred Description : The registered nurse will perform direct patient care and delegation to patient care technicians. Knowledge and compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines relating to facility care will be maintained. This position requires basic medical and surgical knowledge to care for surgical and orthopedic surgical patients. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Regularly assesses patient needs and provides skilled nursing services as prescribed by the physician-authorized plan of care. Provides direct resident care, including medication administration, treatments, call lights, and assistance with transfers. Evaluates the effectiveness of the treatment plan and participates in updating or revising the treatment plan in collaboration with other team members. Processes physician orders and performs physician-ordered care accurately and in a timely manner. Follows up on medication changes and order clarifications. Every other weekend work is required.
