Job Title : Weekend Turning Machinist

Job Description

Join our team as a Weekend Turning Machinist, where you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and contribute to the production of flight-critical Aerospace / Defense components and assemblies. This role offers a unique shift schedule from Friday to Sunday, allowing you to work 36 hours while being compensated for 40, with an additional 25% shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Machine parts to specifications using machine tools, particularly lathe machines.
• Work from blueprints, engineering instructions, and specifications to ensure precision.
• Measure, examine, and test completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, utilizing precision instruments such as micrometers.
• Set up, adjust, and operate a variety of basic machine tools and specialized tools to perform precision machining operations.
• Manufacture high-end aerospace machine parts.

Work Environment

Work in a modern facility with advanced technologies. The shift is from 5 am to 5 pm or 5 pm to 5 am, Friday to Sunday. Enjoy a 25% shift differential and a schedule that offers work-life balance by working 36 hours and getting paid for 40.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44000.00 - $65000.00 / yr.
