As of 1 / 1 / 24 - all new and returning agency staff must have de-escalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance. Average daily census : 20 patients

RN to patient ratio : 1 : 9 (depending on census)

Patient Population : Adult and Geriatric

Average stay length : 5-7 days

EMR : EPIC

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

PLEASE NOTE WHERE THEY HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE ON PROFILE AS THIS IS REQUIRED. OT and Holiday Multipliers : x1.25

Dress Code : Personal scrubs of any color - No designs or cartoons. No hoodies.

Non-Billable Orientation : 8 HRs

Cancellation policy : Facility can cancel up to 5 shifts per 13 week contract , must give 2 hr notice

Minimum 2+ years of Behavioral Heath Unit experience - Required

Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, and Adult Patients - Required

Recent travel experience

Experience with de-escalation of agitated patients

De-Escalation Training of any kind, CPI or NAPPI / Welle Certifications- REQUIRED

Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle. This is a firm requirement.

EPIC experience required

Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit
