Must-Have : Strong IV experience, chronic complex patients, trach care, NG / GT / PEG feeding

Description :

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in pediatrics for a progressive care setting.

The unit focuses on chronic complex care, post-operative spinal fusion, and telemetry services.

Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 : 4, with a ratio of 1 : 3 for post-renal transplant patients.

Patients may include those with conditions such as asthma, bronchiolitis, pneumonia, and chronic-complex cerebral palsy.

Experience with feeding tubes (NG, GT, PEG), PCA pumps, and telemetry monitoring is essential.

Common procedures performed on the unit include lab monitoring, telemetry, and intermittent chest tube management.

Floating to other general care or medical-surgical areas may be required.

The orientation process includes administrative education and scheduled training sessions.

Additional training on electronic medical records will be provided.
