Sr. Transmission & Distribusion Engineer

About the role

Own transmission & distribution design end-to-end - from concept and routing through construction and as-builts. You'll lead multiple OH / UG projects, set quality bars, and run schedules, estimates, and cashflows. Expect hands-on design reviews (PLS-CADD / Civil 3D, MFAD, CYMCAP), plus mentoring and client presentations. Top responsibilities

Lead OH / UG design for new lines & rebuilds; review drawings / calcs; QA / QC.

Plan / manage scope, schedule, cost, and invoicing; report progress.

Primary client POC; coordinate with Program Manager & delivery teams.

Support BD with Program Manager & Division Director.

Must Have

7+ years in T&D design (OH + UG)

PE license (NY strongly preferred)

PLS-CADD, AutoCAD Civil 3D, MFAD, CYMCAP

Proven project management + excellent communication

Good to Have

Underground thermal / ampacity modeling (CYMCAP)

Grid hardening / resilience / wildfire or storm mitigation exposure

QA / QC leadership; as-built closeout experience
