The Corporate Health, Safety, and Environment Manager will be responsible for the continuous development of safety policies and procedures, as well as effective implementation of these policies across all manufacturing locations in the U.S.
Main Tasks
- Execute Safety, Environment & Health projects related to manufacturing, engineering, distribution and contracted-customer service activities.
- Analyze and solve safety issues or problem areas.
- Review safety requirements in customer contracts and bids.
- Assist in compliance to OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISO regulations pertaining to corporate operations.
- Assist in reducing and eliminating safety hazards through site visits (audits and walkabouts).
- Assist in investigating accidents and / or injuries; conducting post-accident / incident safety audit, surveys, and inspections to verify compliance levels and recommend changes consistent with business objectives.
- Develop and implement safety programs as directed to reduce job related injuries.
- Meet with site supervision to assist in resolution of safety matters.
- Develop annual OSHA log postings and requirements.
- Manage ISO certification and customer requested quality audits.
- Assist HR in administration of Workers Compensation cases.
- Assist in the design and administration of plant, warehouse and customer-site safety rules and instructions.
- Review new equipment and methods for potential hazards.
- Analyze safety and quality statistics and develop recommendations.
- Interface with Safety and Quality process owners at Tri-Dim locations.
- Create reports and presentations as needed.
Your Profile
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred with academic majors- Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Safety Management or Engineering, Quality AssuranceExperience :
5 to 7 years Safety & Quality experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.Experience with ISO 9001 : 2015, ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001OSHA 30 hour general industry, OSHA 511, and OSHA 501 certificationSkills :
Ability to travel up to 50%Strong interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently, take initiative, set and execute to work plansAbility to balance multiple tasks.Detail oriented with a tenacious focus on results.Solid analytical, organizational, prioritization and project management skills.Excellent written and oral communications skills at all levels in the organization.Proficient in MS Windows, Office and related software programs.We offer
