We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant / Receptionist to join a well-established practice specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. The ideal candidate will provide support in both medical assistance and receptionist duties.
Duties :
Qualified candidates must be able to perform various duties that may include : greeting patients, entering new patient information, checking patients in and out, verifying insurance coverage, scheduling appointments on the computer, collecting co-payments, assisting with procedures, cleaning and stocking rooms, refills, pre-certs, rooming patients, scheduling procedures, lab work, EHR charting, seeking a diverse workload of clinical MA tasks and administrative office coordinator tasks, participating from patient intake to discharge, answering phone calls, responding to 3rd party business requests, and various clinical duties as needed.
Job Requirements :
Applicants must have a Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or graduate transcript and one year of previous medical field experience preferred but not required, willing to train the right applicant.
Must be flexible to work at both locations in Southlake primarily and Fort Worth occasionally.
Part-Time is also available
Schedule : 16 & 24 hr / wk, Mondays & Wednesdays, Thursdays (if needed)
