Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Production Tech (to join their team. As a Production Tech, you will be part of the Production Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title : Production Tech

Location : Jacksonville, FL

Shift : Shift will be a 2-2-3, working every other weekend

What's the Job?

  • Manage production activities for a designated area of the factory floor, including material staging, loading, and machine maintenance.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed and manufacturing processes comply with safety regulations.
  • Unpackage raw materials, verify codes, and ensure materials are within expiration dates.
  • Perform daily maintenance on machinery, including cleaning and troubleshooting alarms and line stoppages.
  • Escalate major machine issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime and continuous line flow.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-3 years of experience on an automated production line or similar role.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic familiarity with automation sensors, conveyor logic, PLC logic, and troubleshooting is preferred.
