Staff Accountant

Position Requirements:

• 3-5 years general accounting experience
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred, but not required.
• Understanding of percentage of completion accounting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PDF programs.
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly with limited supervision.
• Ability to take care of both internal and external customers’ needs while following company procedures.
• Accuracy and Organization– Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Communication –Strong oral and written communication skills. Comfortable presenting information to all levels of management. Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and possess strong analytical skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• May be required to work extended hours, particularly during month/year end. Some travel may be required, however limited.
• Ability to be internally inspired to perform a task to the best of one’s ability using his or her own drive or initiative.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to take ownership and care about final output.
• Must be detail oriented and dependable.
• Position requires adaptability, flexibility and being open to change with the ability to resolve problems efficiently.
• Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and coworkers.
