Cobol Mainframe Developer

A company is looking for an AFS vision Cobol Mainframe Developer.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe-based applications using COBOL, JCL, TSO / ISPF, and IBM Utilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions

Utilize knowledge of IBM DB2 and relational database design to optimize data access and performance

Required Qualifications

Advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience

Minimum 10+ years of technical experience in mainframe programming and systems analysis

Proficient in COBOL, JCL, TSO / ISPF, and IBM Utilities

Strong understanding of IBM DB2 and relational database concepts

Experience in Banking, Finance, or Insurance sectors is preferred
