- Review, create, & approve Process Routers prior to release to production.
- All customer & design authority specification requirements are to be verified and achieved prior to Process Router approval.
- A liaison between the Estimating and Quality departments to verify all paperwork is compliant and quality testing pricing is added, if required, prior to processing parts.
- Communication and teamwork with production to verify that Process Routers are viable and if any changes (specification & customer compliant) are required.
- Submittal of Technical Plans to General Electric, Rolls-Royce, PWA & other customers prior to processing parts.
- Create repair procedures for non-conforming products and customer returns.
- Assist in resolving customer technical questions/problems.
- Assist Quality Engineering Supervisor and/or Manager on special projects and customer related quality issues as assigned.
- Assist in internal audits as requested by Valence schedules and procedures.
- Maintain matrix and statistics on process routers development routers.
- Develops new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities.
- Develops & maintains a mastery knowledge of customer, government and industry quality assurance standards and specifications.
- The analysis of periodic testing data, including trend analysis.
- Proper operation of testing equipment as required by specification, e.g. XRF, Hardness Machines, Metallographic, CMM, gages, salt spray & humidity, including assisting the Quality Supervisor in training of inspection/testing personnel as needed.
