Cryptologic Linguist Role
This role is pivotal in the nation's defense, relying heavily on deciphering foreign language communications. As a
Signals Intelligence Voice Interceptor , you will utilize your linguistic skills to identify, categorize, translate, and summarize foreign language communications from a specific location.
You will also be responsible for operating and overseeing signals equipment used in signals intelligence operations. Additionally, you will learn the necessary intelligence skills to conduct military briefings and notify the relevant authorities when required.

Requirements : U.S. citizenship
Age between 17 and 34 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
Meet tattoo guidelines
No major law violations
No medical concerns
Training and Certifications :
42 nationally recognized certifications available
10 weeks of basic training
5-20 weeks of advanced individual training
85 or above on the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) for active duty
101 ASVAB score : Skilled Technical (ST) for ST score of 129 or above
36-64 weeks of education at the Defense Foreign Language Institute if not fluent in a foreign language
