Location : Coastal Alaska

Duration : January / February 2024 - Ongoing

Schedule : 1 week / month of call

Call : 7a Mon 7a Mon

Patient volume : between 2-5 census daily

Scope : attend high risk births (c-sections, or high risk), admit peds on med surg as well, up to 18 yrs old. Common reasons for admission : Mental health, RSV. No NICU level of care, stabilize until transport team arrives and ship to Anchorage. Procedures : possibly draw blood off umbilical artery, intubations, etc

Group / support : 2 other pediatricians

Requirements (boards, license) : MUST HAVE NRP CERT. Must be BC in PEDS. Must have or be willing to obtain an AK License
