League School for Autism is an award-winning, year-round program dedicated to the education of children on the autism spectrum. Our team approach to education creates a collaborative, supportive and open environment within our community. We are currently seeking Part-Time Relief Nurse (LPN) for our program in Walpole to start immediately. Hourly rate is $37.45.

Position Requirements :

• Associate’s Degree or LPN Diploma from an accredited school.
• Current Massachusetts registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in good standing with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Experience working with children and / or people with disabilities
• Minimum of two years’ nursing experience, which must include general nursing and medication administration.
• Must pass rigorous background checks, including nationwide fingerprint screening.

Supervision Received : Nurse Manager

Duties and Responsibilities may include the following :

The Relief Nurse is primarily responsible for medication administration and general nursing for the residential programs. May also work during the day in the school nursing office. Evening and weekend work is required.

Computer Skills :

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Office. SNAP Nursing Software a plus.
