Manufacturing Engineering Manager, Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve people and organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

We are looking for a technical leader, who has a demonstrated track record of building strong engineering teams and delivering complex solutions, to lead the Manufacturing Engineering team for the Satellite Integration.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead the vision and execution for the Manufacturing engineering team that supports satellite integration.
• Work with key stakeholders across hardware and software development teams to define Manufacturing requirements.
• Work within the Production Operations team(s) to develop and support quality manufacturing processes while meeting rate.
• Develop and manage team of front line support Mfg Engineers and Process Engineers.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including antenna & RF engineering, mechanical engineering, software, test, integration, reliability, compliance / regulatory, manufacturing, program management, to meet production goals.
