Role Summary / Purpose : -

Tool crib you will work at the Parsippany, NJ business manufacturing plant and maintain accurate records of tools and equipment, track their distribution to employees, and perform regular inventory counts.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities : _

Inventory and tracking :

Maintain accurate records of tools and equipment, track their distribution to employees, and perform regular inventory counts.

Issuing and receiving :

Receive, inspect, and organize incoming tools and supplies, and issue tools to personnel upon request, keeping track of usage

Organization :

Keep the tool crib clean, organized, and secure, and efficiently store various items.

Ordering and stock management : Monitor stock levels, initiate reorder requests for replacements, and dispose of obsolete equipment.

Communication : Work with shop personnel, supervisors to understand tooling needs and support production goals.

Required skills and qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is typically required.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with inventory tracking software.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and tools is often necessary.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50LB and move tools.
