Position Overview

As a Gas Leak Survey Technician , you will play a critical role in protecting communities and ensuring compliance with safety regulations by conducting field inspections of gas pipelines and infrastructure. Using specialized equipment, you'll detect and document leaks, report findings, and help safeguard customers, property, and the environment.

This is a field-based position that requires working outdoors in varied conditions, walking long distances, and adhering to strict safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct leak surveys of gas pipelines and related infrastructure using specialized detection equipment (gas detectors, infrared cameras, etc.).
• Identify, assess, and document any leaks, damages, or hazardous conditions.
• Create accurate reports of inspection results and communicate findings to project management or utility partners.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Maintain equipment and follow company and industry safety standards at all times.
