Engagement and Alumni Relations, Senior Associate
The Engagement and Alumni Relations, Senior Associate, supports the College of Nursing's advancement goals by implementing strategic engagement and stewardship initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Director of Alumni and Constituent Engagement, this role fosters meaningful connections with alumni, students, parents, and donors through events, communications, and outreach support.
This position plays a key role in executing and supporting engagement strategies that enhance the college's reputation, encourage donor loyalty, and strengthen community involvement. It also supports select stewardship activities aligned with the college's donor stewardship plan and collaborates across teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with fundraising priorities.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support events and engagement efforts.
Qualifications
Required :
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 years of experience in alumni relations, donor relations, or program administration, preferably in higher education.

Supports strategic priorities in alumni relations, stewardship, and development.Leads and implements select engagement activities for constituents.Assists with stewardship efforts to enhance donor satisfaction and encourage continued giving.Collaborates with Communications and Marketing to ensure consistent messaging.Manages logistics for engagement activities, including :Prepares and submits reimbursement requests for staff and event-related expenses in compliance with university policies.Coordinates the procurement of goods and services to support engagement activities, including submitting purchase requests and tracking orders.Manages printing and production of materials for events, mailings, and other engagement initiatives.Oversees mailing logistics for constituent correspondence, including invitations, thank-you notes, and informational packets.Researches and liaises with vendors to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.Processes vendor invoices and ensure accurate and timely payment.Maintains organized records of purchases, reimbursements, and vendor communications.Collaborates with engagement and alumni relations staff to align materials and services with event goals and branding standards.Events and Programming 30%
Plans and executes a portfolio of events that engage alumni, students, parents, donors, and the broader college community.Partners with the Senior Director to develop and implement an annual engagement strategy aligned with college priorities.Stewardship Support 15%
Assists the Donor Experience Consultant with stewardship activities that support the CON donor stewardship plan and promote donor retention.Special Projects 5%
