Restoration Technician Opportunity

Rainbow International of East Stroudsburg is now hiring Restoration Technicians. Looking for a career not just a job? $15 - $18 / hr based on experience.

• Learn and become proficient in mold remediation procedures including preparing an area for a post-clearance test to verify our results.
• Learn and become proficient in fire damage clean-up, smoke and soot removal and deodorization of structural components and contents.

Summary

The restoration technician delivers water, fire and smoke damage restoration services to our residential and commercial customers. Your daily task might include taking moisture level readings, water extraction, equipment placement, general demolition, detailed cleaning of fire and smoke damaged structures, or packing, inventorying and cleaning of personal property.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Qualifications

Must be customer focused, professional appearance, detail oriented, goal oriented, possess a strong work ethic and have a desire to be the best. Must be able to lift and / or move up to 75 pounds. You must be able to pass a criminal background check, have a good driving record, and pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
