Responsible for checking the internal soundness of castings through nondestructive testing procedures to ensure customer requirements are achieved and are in compliance. Once trained, this position will work our 2nd or 3rd Shift.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Language Ability :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills :
Basic knowledge of computers is required.
Certificates and Licenses :
Soundness Technician Level C :
Is able to perform all of the essential duties and responsibilities from above, with minimal to no supervision. He / she can only perform radiography once certified to RT Level I & II.
Soundness Technician Level B Training Required :
Soundness Technician Level A
Soundness Technician Lead Operator :
