Inpatient Palliative Care opening in Carrollton, GA Carrollton : 45 miles from Atlanta Salary : 250K guarantee with additional medical director earnings available + 50K sign on / 50K start date incentives, relocation and full benefits package Position Information : - Full-time, permanent position- Seeking a board eligible / board certified Palliative Medicine physician to expand our current palliative care service line, by offering inpatient and limited outpatient services in west Georgia.- Monday - Friday (5 days / 40 hours per week).- Join an established collaborative and collegial inpatient palliative care team comprised of one physician, a dedicated full-time LPN, and a full-time licensed social worker and help us develop an outpatient program that will enhance and grow the Palliative Care services.- Function as a program builder by overseeing the design and implementation of an outpatient palliative care clinic, to ultimately include Home Based Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner program.- Experience practicing Palliative Medicine in an acute care hospital setting with program management experience preferred. Education : - Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care through American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine- Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine or General Surgery- Completion of an accredited Palliative Medicine Fellowship- Current GA Medical License or must meet eligibility requirements
