Reports To : Banner Shared Services Manager

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to gather user requirements, define technical specifications, and work closely with end users, Banner developers, and the Scrum Master to deliver effective solutions in our Banner systems. The ideal candidate will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, end users, and the Banner development team, ensuring that technical solutions meet institutional goals, compliance standards, and user needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Gather, document, and prioritize user requirements to create clear technical specifications for Banner developers.

Provide guidance, documentation, and training to end users as needed.

Required Qualifications :

Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in Ellucian Banner.

Strong understanding of Ellucian Banner.

Ability to gather and document user requirements and translate them into actionable technical specifications.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Salesforce.

Experience working in Agile development environments and familiarity with Azure Dev Ops.

Banner Finance experience.

Key Competencies :

Strong collaboration skills to effectively work with users, developers, and Scrum Master.

Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Working Conditions :
