Material Handler

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for executing day-to-day tasks that involve detailed and repetitive mechanical assembly operations. This position requires the ability to follow detailed verbal or written instructions and inspect parts to ensure accurate assembly.

Responsibilities

• Follow detailed verbal or written instructions for assembly tasks.
• Perform basic, standardized, and repetitive mechanical assembly operations, including labeling of components, assemblies, or subassemblies.
• Manually assemble inserted components per visual aids, ensuring verification of specifications.
• Inspect parts to ensure correct assembly.
• Use scanners and hand tools for assembly tasks.
• Accurately report assembly outcomes.
• Work under direct supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor or Line Manager.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
• Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts. Sunday-Tuesday every other Wednesday -OR- Thursday-Saturday every other Wednesday 6AM-6PM or 6PM-6AM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Florence, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $24.73 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
