Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of acute care and inpatient rehab experience for a 13-week contract.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in an acute care and inpatient rehab setting, covering ICU, cardiopulmonary, acute neuro, post-op ortho, general surgery, acute stroke rehab, post-trauma, orthopedic, and medical deconditioning
  • Typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM, with hours varying based on patient volumes
  • Rotating weekend coverage is required every other month (includes Saturday and Sunday)
  • Caseload averages 4-8 evaluations and 4-8 treatments per day
  • Dress code is black scrubs
  • Responsibilities include patient evaluation and treatment in a multidisciplinary hospital environment
  • All candidates will be part of a weekend coverage rotation every other month
  • Covid vaccination is not required for consideration
  • Position is open to local candidates, but local pay rates may apply depending on distance from facility
  • Full SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings
  • Valid Physical Therapy license required if applicable
  • Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
  • Copy of driver’s license required
  • Two professional references required
