Soleo Health is seeking a Full-time Senior Patient Accounts Specialist to support our Specialty Infusion Pharmacy and work Remotely (USA). Join us in Simplifying Complex Care!

Home infusion therapy experience required.

The Position :

The Senior Patient Accounts Specialist will be responsible for acting as a team lead for Patient Account functions as assigned under the direction of the Patient Accounts Manager. The Senior Patient Accounts Specialist is responsible for overseeing the billing and collection activities for Soleo Health’s Patient Accounts Receivable including balances for copay / deductibles, Soleo Assistance, self-pay patients, Transworld, and manufacturer co-payment programs. Responsibilities include :

  • Reviews billing statements for patient balances remaining after third party payments have been received and posted and oversees the generation and distribution of the Patient Collection Reports to the field identifying delinquent patient accounts
  • Communicates with patients regarding overdue balances, billing concerns and / or payment arrangements
  • Monitors Soleo’s collection agency portal and provides requested information as needed and reports patient payments
  • Prepares necessary adjustments to patient balances after all collection efforts have been exhausted
  • Assists with the reviews of Soleo Assistance Applications for final approval or denial
  • Creates and submits manufacturer co-payment claims in a timely manner
  • Assists with the management of the Mfg Co Pay A / R for prompt collections submitting appeals when needed
  • Maintains positive relationships with Mfg Co-Pay Programs
  • Manages Soleo’s missing DME billing program and tracks through the collection process
  • Prepares and reviews patient and MFG Copay refund requests when necessary
  • Documents notes in a clear and concise fashion in Company software system
  • Identifies issues / trends and escalates to Manager when assistance is needed
  • Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local governments, third party contracts and company policies
  • Schedule :

  • Monday-Friday 830a-5p
  • Requirements :

  • Home infusion therapy experience required
  • 5 years of Medical and Billing Collections experience required
  • Supervisory experience required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Knowledge of HCPC-coding and medical terminology
  • Excellent math and writing skills
  • Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers
  • Excel and Outlook experience required
  • CPR+ system experience preferred
