A company is looking for a COBOL Developer (Mainframe Modernization).

Key Responsibilities

Modernize legacy systems by analyzing, developing, and migrating COBOL and JCL source code

Ensure financial integrity by managing the full development lifecycle for budgeting and disbursement modules

Drive technical excellence by collaborating with a team to document solutions, resolve defects, and estimate tasks

Required Qualifications

US Citizenship

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

8+ years of related experience

4+ years of hands-on experience in COBOL and JCL development within an IBM z / OS environment

Strong command of TSO / ISPF, Db2, VSAM files, and QMF / SQL
