Merchant Account Executive

Job Description

The Merchant Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth and maximizing profitability from existing merchant relationships. This role focuses on identifying opportunities through a deep understanding of client needs, market trends, and the organization's products and services.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain profitable merchant account relationships.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned markets.
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective and existing clients, showcasing solutions that meet their business needs.
• Build and sustain a strong referral network and execute a structured call program to generate leads and promote sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction.

Must live in Colorado to qualify will travel daily in area. Metro Denver area traveling to local BMO branches.

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience - Two to three years of relevant sales experience - Ability to travel

Preferred Skills / Experience - Basic knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations - Strong marketing, business development / sales and negotiating skills - Ability to creatively resolve client concerns and issues - Basic problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks / projects and deadlines simultaneously - Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range : $64,855.00 - $76,300.00
