SUMMARY OF POSITION :

Exercises delegated administrative responsibility and authority for the supervision of all hospital personnel and functions within the assigned work unit / location for assigned shift. Serves as a leader and resource person in facilitating efficient operational activities throughout the organization.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S) :

Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact required.

BLS required prior to orientation completion.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S) :

Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

ACLS preferred.
