Part-Time Post Certified Armed Security Guard
Georgia Department of Labor is actively seeking candidates for part-time POST certified Armed Security Guard position. The hours will be no more than 24 hours per week. The position is located at the GDOL Main Office in downtown Atlanta, GA.
This position is a highly-visible, public safety position that requires the applicant to be courteous, polite, and informative to agency staff, vendors, and customers. The Security Guard will secure and protect the facility in case of fires, natural disasters, or other hazardous events. Duties may require up to 10% of travel. Must possess an active P.O.S.T Certificate in good standing as defined by GA POST Council AND must have successfully completed the Basic Mandate Law Enforcement Training Program.
