Arizona Nursing Job Details

Location : Willcox, AZ 85643 – Explore Arizona’s vineyard capital, near Chiricahua National Monument and Kartchner Caverns State Park.

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : November 17, 2025

End Date : February 16, 2026

Healthcare Setting : Community Hospital / Critical Access

Nursing Shift : Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Hours per Week : 36

Patient Ratio : 1 : 5

On Call : Required (1 low census / on call shift per month)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2020-$2070

Med / Surg Tele RN Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg Telemetry RN experience (community hospital or critical access experience required)

Previous charge nurse experience required

Travel RN experience required (no first-time travelers)

Active Registered Nurse license (must have Arizona RN license in hand before submitting)

Certifications : ACLS, BLS (AHA required), CPI preferred

Telemetry nursing skills and IV pump experience required (Plum 360 IV Pumps)

Ability to work independently and manage the unit

Experience with Pyxis medication system and MedHost documentation system preferred

Must provide 1 supervisory reference

Flu vaccine required (medical / religious exemptions only)

No local candidates within 50 miles of Willcox, AZ

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med / Surg Telemetry unit

Monitor and interpret telemetry data, administer medications, and manage IV pumps

Serve as charge nurse, providing leadership and clinical support

Accurately document patient care using MedHost system

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services

Float to other hospital units as needed and participate in on-call coverage

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and healthcare regulations
