About The Position

Job Description :

We are looking for a Sterile Processing Technician with active certification (CBSPD or CRCST) to join our team. This role involves collecting, cleaning, sterilizing, and preparing surgical instruments in accordance with established protocols. The technician will float between two locations as needed and must be comfortable with variable start times, on-call duties, and holiday coverage. Responsibilities include operating sterilization equipment, maintaining inventory, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience

Active CBSPD or CRCST certification required

Must be willing to float between facilities (SVH and CVH)

Flexible with variable shifts and on-call coverage

Strong knowledge of aseptic technique, decontamination, and sterilization principles

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and department-specific software

Must meet all mandatory education, certification, and policy compliance requirements

Holiday coverage required

Bilingual not required
