About this role

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Dentist to work in a correctional facility located in Sacramento, CA. Under the supervision of the Supervising Dentist, the Dentist (DDS), is responsible for the delivery of dental care, including preventive care, to patients at a correctional facility. They participate in performance management activities to continuously improve the Incarcerated Dental Services Program. The Dentist may delegate appropriate levels of responsibility to the Supervising Dental Assistant, Dental Assistant, and Dental Hygienist, and is responsible for the quality of their work. The Dentist, maintains order and supervises the conduct of the incarcerated and protects and maintains the safety of persons and property.

Pay Rate : $118-120 / hr

Location : Sacramento, CA

Minimum Qualifications :

Possession of an Active license to practice dentistry in California as determined by the California Board of Dental Examiners.

AND

Education : Graduation from an approved dental school.

Requirements :

• Requires a dental license from the State of California and 2+ years experience providing general dentistry, dental surgery and preventive care.
• Adult Correctional Health
• Experience with extractions and restorations
