• Previous experience in Cath Lab
• Ability to float to outpatient cath lab for procedures
• Availability for on-call shifts

Description :

The Cath Lab Tech will work 4x10 hour shifts during the day.

This role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the cath lab.

Candidates with prior experience in EP, Structural Heart, MacLab, Xper, or Cerner are preferred.

The position necessitates BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications.

The tech will be responsible for accurate monitoring and a variety of cardiac procedures.

Involvement in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures will be required.

Floating to other units within the facility or to associated facilities may be necessary based on census and skill set.

Candidates should be prepared to work on weekends and take on-call shifts as needed.

All staff are expected to adhere to patient safety and quality standards.

Familiarity with Cerner as a charting system is preferred.

Additional skills beneficial for this position include expertise in angioplasty, cardiac mapping, and stent placement.

The tech will play a vital role in maintaining a sterile field during procedures.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a team environment while providing excellent patient care.

Adherence to all hospital protocols and policies is expected.

The individual will interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members, requiring excellent communication skills.
