Location : Palos Park, IL 60464

Pay Rate : $20$25 per hour

Shift : Full time

Description :

Birch Agency is currently hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional to work near Palos Park, Illinois for the 20252026 school year . This is a full-time, in-person position supporting students in PreK5th grade .

Position Overview :

Qualified candidates will provide support to students with a range of needs. Responsibilities may include :

Assisting non-verbal students with daily living skills

Providing academic support in small groups or one-on-one

Supporting students with behavioral needs under teacher / BCBA guidance

Maintaining a safe, positive learning environment

Requirements :

Active Illinois Paraprofessional License

Experience working with students with disabilities preferred

Strong communication skills, patience, and compassion

Compensation :

Competitive pay based on experience : $20$25 per hour
