Physician - Emergency Medicine

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY)  is adding an  Emergency Medicine Physician  to the group at  NYC Health + Hospitals / Metropolitan.     Metropolitan Hospital accommodates over 313,000 outpatient visits, nearly 70,000 emergency room visits and more than 13,000 inpatient admissions annually. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with  New York Medical College  to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details :

• Conduct patient assessments, including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals of all ages presenting to the Emergency Department.
• Deliver comprehensive, high-quality patient care in alignment with departmental standards.
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and other hospital clinical services to ensure coordinated care.
• Complete all required documentation and administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Provide clinical teaching, supervision, and mentorship to residents, fellows, and medical students.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills through CME participation and regular departmental educational activities.

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary :  $272,678

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $395,465

Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional / per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.

Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous years average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits) :

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
