Enterprise Platforms Technology (EPTech) is vital to Capital One’s core platforms. We focus on establishing best practices for creating technology solutions across the company while delivering outstanding capabilities.

Your Responsibilities :

Design and develop cutting-edge iOS applications that align with product strategy and adhere to engineering best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Software Engineers, UX / UI designers, Quality Engineers, and Product Owners, to create high-quality, engaging customer experiences.

Actively participate in agile ceremonies to ensure that commitments are met on time and with the utmost quality.

Advocate for the mobile platform within both local and broader developer communities.

Stay current with mobile development technologies, including Swift, Kotlin, and relevant third-party libraries.

Contribute to group discussions, incorporating feedback and communication from team members.

Mentor junior to mid-level engineers, fostering their growth and learning.

Engage with developers across disciplines (Android, iOS, APIs, Web) to enhance collaboration.

Lead the delivery of major components and platform needs while working closely with senior engineers and Architects.

Share best practices and drive process improvements across sprint teams.

Identify technical challenges early and collaborate with the team to devise creative solutions.

Review pull requests to ensure adherence to Swift and other relevant coding standards.

Basic Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering (excluding internships).

At least 3 years of experience building iOS applications.

At least 3 years of experience with Swift.

Preferred Qualifications :

Master's Degree.

5+ years of experience creating iOS applications.

4+ years of experience with Swift.

4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.

2+ years of experience working within Agile methodologies.

The salary range for this role is $175,800 - $200,700 for candidates based in Chicago, IL. Candidates in other locations will receive salaries based on local ranges, as detailed in the offer letter. This position is eligible for performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
