About the Organization
A private equity–backed industrial manufacturer is entering a significant phase of expansion involving new markets, increased scale, and enhanced global presence. The organization operates with a lean, fast-paced culture emphasizing direct collaboration, minimal hierarchy, and decisive action. As part of its growth, it is establishing a formal enterprise Strategy and Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) to lead critical strategic initiatives across all business functions.
About the Role
The Director of Strategy will be a key leader in identifying, shaping, and implementing enterprise-wide initiatives that support long-term growth and operational excellence. This newly created position works closely with senior leadership and private equity stakeholders to define strategic priorities and ensure successful execution of high-impact programs.
The role combines strategic analysis, structured problem-solving, and hands-on leadership — ideal for an individual who thrives in dynamic, results-driven environments and enjoys translating ideas into measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development of enterprise-level strategic initiatives focused on integration, operational optimization, and growth.
- Translate executive and investor objectives into actionable plans with defined business results.
- Partner with leaders in Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial functions to ensure strategic alignment across the organization.
- Collaborate with Strategy and EPMO teams to manage planning, governance, and execution of major programs.
- Conduct market, financial, and operational analyses to guide strategic decisions and evaluate new opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver clear, data-based recommendations to senior leadership and investment partners.
- Support long-range business planning, portfolio management, and performance measurement activities.
Minimum Qualifications
10–15 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or operational strategy roles.Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to connect strategic priorities to business performance.Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable outcomes.Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable engaging directly with executive and investor audiences.Proven ability to operate effectively in lean, fast-changing environments.MBA or advanced degree preferred; experience in manufacturing, industrial, or materials sectors highly valued.Preferred Attributes
