Role Description

This is a full-time role as an Inside Sales Representative at Glass Doctor of the NorthShore LA, located in Hammond, LA. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as answering phone calls, generating leads, managing customer accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This is an on-site role, and you will be

based in our office in Hammond, LA.

Your Responsibilities as an ISR

As a Glass Doctor ISR, you are a vital part of our team. You will be the person that provides top-notch customer service while showing off your solid customer service skills.

Here’s what you’ll do :

  • Receives incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, determines purpose of the call, and collects / verifies contact information.
  • Enter all relevant customer information into the point-of-sale system.
  • Sets appointments for flat projects to promptly close the sale.
  • Promptly responds to email requests to secure the opportunity.
  • Collect payment from customers for the work performed.
  • Quote product by telephone for clients / customers (if applicable)
  • Assist Estimators with follow up on pending sales / quotes by phone and / or email
  • Strategically schedule work appointments for Installation Technicians, along with customers accordingly
  • Troubleshoot issue from field if needed, working with GM / vendors and techs to find solutions
  • Check order confirmations from fabricators / vendors for size and pricing accuracy
  • Filing of daily work orders and estimates
  • Ordering of all office / shop supplies
  • Keeping office clean / tidy

Job Requirements

The following are the minimum requirements to be considered for the ISR position at Glass Doctor :

  • One year or more of customer service experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the basic tools of the trade.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent / Some college preferred.
  • Must be insurable with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record to drive a company vehicle.
  • Must be willing to complete a background check and drug screen.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time.
  • Outstanding phone skills.
  • Strong computer and internet skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Qualifications

  • Account Management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills
  • Experience in the glass or
  • construction industry is a plus
