Kahu Malama Nurses is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a growing and dynamic healthcare team! Job Description : Provide professional nursing care and administer clinical services such as IV therapy, oxygen, catheterization, tube feedings, and wound care. Oversee medication administration, ensuring proper documentation, storage, and compliance with physician orders. Conduct resident assessments and maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations. Respond to emergency calls, assess conditions, perform first aid, and take appropriate medical action. Communicate effectively with healthcare staff, physicians, and management regarding resident status and treatment plans. Participate in admissions, discharges, and evaluations to ensure continuity and quality of care. Supervise and train nursing staff; assist in scheduling and coverage for call-outs. Conduct and document incident investigations, implement corrective actions, and support quality assurance initiatives. Perform health screenings, administer vaccinations, and assist during emergency drills. Ensure resident rights and organizational policies are followed at all times. Position Requirements : Current State of Hawaii Registered Nurse (R.N.) license. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Strong clinical judgment and critical-thinking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to stay calm and make sound decisions in emergency situations. Knowledge of healthcare compliance, documentation standards, and patient rights. Leadership and team collaboration skills.
