• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 PM
• Schedule requires 3x12 night shifts with every other weekend coverage
• No on-call or floating responsibilities
• Maintain 4 : 1 patient ratio during nights, days, and weekends
• Provide assessment, coordination, delivery and evaluation of nursing care in acute patient setting
• Deliver holistic and individualized care to patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle approximately 150 patient visits per day with 28 average daily census
• Work in 23-room, 24-bed emergency department
• Manage various emergency conditions including trauma, stroke, STEMI, and general emergency department cases
• Operate specialized equipment including IV pumps, rapid infusors, NIcom, Lucas Device, and EVDs
• Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS (all must be AHA certified)
• California nursing license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• 36-hour orientation period with non-billable modules averaging 1-5 hours
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
