About The Position

Job Title : Polysomnographic Technologist

Profession : Tech

Duration : 11 weeks

Shift : 1830-0630

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Two years current experience; One 13-week previous travel assignment required

License : Registered Polysomnographic Technologist certification (RPSGT)

Certifications : BLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross

Must-Have :

• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
• Must have current working experience with G3 / Alice 6 software.
• Enrollment in or completion of an accredited Clinical Polysomnography program or Respiratory Therapy program required.

Description :

Floating between departments and / or local locations within 20 miles is required.

All Polysomnography duties are to be performed.

Scoring of sleep studies is required.

Communication with sleep center physicians regarding their patients and / or testing procedures is expected.

Assistance with training of Polysomnographic Trainees and technicians, including overseeing testing performance, is necessary.

Quality monitoring assistance is part of the role.

Support with patient compliance programs, as needed, including making follow-up contacts, is required.
