client is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a contract opportunity in Addison, TX!

Responsibilities

Maintain CI / CD process & pipeline using Ansible, Ansible Tower on LINUX OS.

Build and maintain DevOps tool chain with Python and Powershell scripting languages.

Manage intellectual property stored in code repository using Git / Github.

Construct information-gathering, configuration, and monitoring playbooks and templates using Ansible, Jinja2, YAML, JSON and XML.

Interface with external teams to orchestrate integrated workflows using RESTful API’s.

Plan and manage work products using agile methodology and tools such as Azure DevOps.

Ideate, collaborate, and implement solutions that convert manual efforts to automated workflows. Initiate and maintain documentation for both accuracy and currency.

Educate, coach and mentor traditional CLI-based network engineers toward automation paradigms and provide SME level support.

Work closely with external teams and promote a DevOps culture.
