Job Description Summary
The Certified Medical Assistant Level II is an essential part of our outpatient clinic team, reporting directly to the Outpatient Clinic Manager. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, performing multi-faceted activities that support a patient-centered approach to care and helping to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include assisting in patient examinations and treatments as directed by a physician, interviewing patients, and measuring vital signs such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height. You will also be responsible for accurately recording or inputting this information into patients' medical records and preparing treatment rooms for examinations.

Job Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have completed an accredited medical assistant program. A minimum of six months of CMA / RMA experience is required. You must also hold certification from the American Medical Technologist (AMT), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Health Career Association (NHA), or MedCA as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or National Association for Health Professionals (NAHP).
