LifePoint is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Orientation Weekly Located in Lake Havasu City Joint Commission Accredited 171 beds Community hospital and regional referral center Certified Chest Pain Center Level Trauma 3 Havasu, AZ Outdoor recreation central Beautiful mountain ranges paired with serene lake scenery Close to major cities such as : Las Vegas- 2.5 hours drive Phoenix- 3.25 hours drive Grand Canyon National Park- 3.5 hours Los Angeles or San Diego, CA- 5 hours

Local Rate : $48 - candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel

Call Requirements : NONE ( we don’t schedule them to be on-call; but we can flex their scheduled shifts to an on call shift as needed twice in their contract

Required Certifications : ACLS

Years of Experience : 2

Float Requirements : floating to other units (IMC, ED) in the hospital is an expectation Unit Information :

Number of Beds : 40

Patient Ratios : 1 : 6

Equipment : Baxter for IV pumps; Posey for our bed / chair alarms; Omnicel for our drug dispensing cabinet; Zoll for our defibrillators

EHR : Medhost

Supervisor : Tanya Hawkins

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.” : adult / geriatric Hiring Profile :

Must Have Skills / Experience : Telemetry; recent acute care experience ; can handle 6 patient ratio

Preferred Skillset / Experience : at least 2 yrs RN experience; preceptor and charge experience is a plus;

Type of Patients on Unit : total joint patients; surgical patients; ACS; pts with acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF, CKD; alcohol withdrawal; SIRS; GIB;

Personality Fit : compassionate, positive, can-do attitude

Required Education : ADN Dress Code :
