Role Overview :
Seeking a Maintenance and Reliability Engineer to support maintenance, reliability, and operational excellence across laboratories, manufacturing areas, and warehouse utilities. The role ensures equipment, systems, and buildings operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Safety & Compliance :
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a culture of safety awareness.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISPE, and FDA guidelines.
Manage CAPAs, deviations, and change controls.
Technical & Maintenance Expertise :
Oversee design, operation, and maintenance of HVAC systems, air compressors, pumps, chillers, water systems, electrical systems, generators, and fire protection systems.
Manage automation systems, VFDs, and related utilities.
Use CMMS (e.g., BMRAM) for work order management and maintenance scheduling.
Execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
Perform root cause analysis for equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
Projects & Vendor Management :
Lead facility shutdowns and small utility or capital projects
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment installation and commissioning.
Support facility and equipment upgrades to improve reliability and efficiency.
Continuous Improvement :
Monitor and improve key facility and utility performance indicators.
Recommend and implement system enhancements to ensure long-term sustainability.
Training & Conduct :
Complete mandatory training programs.
Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and a strong customer service mindset.
Qualifications : Required :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment (biotech or pharmaceutical preferred).
Strong knowledge of utilities, mechanical / electrical systems, and automation fundamentals.
Solid communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations.
Preferred :
Experience in GMP or regulated environments.
Working knowledge of CMMS and reliability engineering principles.
